What are your rates?
My packages are very customizable, this means the price can vary depending on your needs and location. To give you a guide , my prices for face painting range from $100.00-$125 per hour and go up based on event location, holiday dates and size. Within an hour I can accommodate 10-15 faces depending on detail of the design and theme being requested. I recommend a 30 minute window for private events to ensure that your guests can take advantage of the wonderful designs I offer without feeling rushed. If you are looking for less design options, please specify in your booking form.
What space do I need for a face painter?
Do you bring anything with you?
I provide everything needed for my set-up, including a table and chair. I do request a 5'x5' space, ensuring safety for children to wait in addition to room for my set-up. If outdoors, I require a shaded covered area away from trash receptacles and exposed bathrooms. If you need a tent for my set-up, we do have one that can be provided for a fee. If this is in your home, I will need a place to dispose of water at the end of the event.
How far do you travel?
I am able to accomodate free of charge, a distance of 20 miles outside of the zip code
of 55418. I do charge a travel fee of a .50 per miles outside of the 20 miles radius.
Is face paintng just for kids?
NO, Adults can enjoy the many benefits of my paint! Many people, of all ages, find great ways to use my paint to enhance their events. Adults utilize my services for many events, such as: bachelorette parties, weddings, costuming/halloween, Zombie Pub Crawl, body painting, pre-natal belly paintings and masquerade balls. My prices range from $25 per guest and upwards, with the average being around $50 per guest for bookings that utilize my premium detail and designs. If you have a specific budget in mind, just drop me a line and I will do my best to make it work for you!
What type of products do you use?
I use top quality professional products that are all FDA compliant and made for cosmetic use. Some of the brands used are: Wolfe FX, Tag, Fab, Cameleon, Ben Nye, Mehrom, ProsAide and Paradise.
When you feel ready to remove your make-up, you can easily wash it off with mild soap and water. All glitter used is formulated for the skin, made of polyester with no sharp edges to scratch eyes.
Hygiene is a priority! I maintain clean water and brushes; using a fresh sponge on each person that is in my chair.
Please note: I will not paint anyone who has broken skin, cold sores, conjunctivitis, rashes or infectious skin. I will not paint faces if they are full of dirt or food. I will however paint their arm or hand.
Is your paint safe for sensitive skin?
My paints are ideal for sensitive skin and although my paints are FDA approved, I cannot guarantee that they will not cause a reaction. If you are worried or your child has sensitive skin please request a patch test first. Please ask questions, some paints have various perfumes or oils, similar to traditional make-up
How old do you have to be to be painted?
I will not paint any children under 2 years of age. Children under the age of 2 have very delicate skin, and tend not to hold still. Adults will often enjoy the benefits of face painting services, please keep this in mind when booking your time frame.
